The Seeker/Transcend series is our most popular model. They were the beginning of our ski company and are our flagship skis. Over the years they have seen many refinements but in the last 2 years they have really settled into the ski I wanted to build, tough, beautiful and very long lasting. They are built much more like a highly crafted piece of furniture than a standard production piece. It takes 96 individual components to build one pair of these skis. They stay in our kiln for 24hrs to ensure all components are heated equally. We have placed rock protection in them to reinforce the platform and tons of carbon uni to ensure a smooth flex and make sure there are no weak points. We use our 7 layer burrito wrap to make up the primary laminates.  We do this because each layer backs the next, adding torsional rigidity without adding weight or making them too stiff in their length. The biggest factor though, is one that we can now quantify as much time has gone by, they maintain their flex longer than any other ski we know of. Every ski company makes great skis especially right out of the wrapper. Some though, start to lose their flex after a very short time. Our use of 7 thin layers of the highest quality vs the masses that use only 2 ensures that the composite doesn’t “slip” on itself the way it does when one uses only 1 thick layer on top and 1 on the bottom. Every layer backs the other and they all meet each other in the torsion cap. I have 1 customer who has 450 days on his Seekers. He bought another pair just because in that amount of time one hits a few rocks and he wanted fresh bases. For interest sake I put the old skis back on the press they were made on and they conformed like they were just pressed. I also very un scientifically flexed they skis and while there were some differences they were remarkably the same. All this to say that, we have tried very hard to make the best ski we can and now that we’re in our eighth year with our most refined ski, we are very happy with results.

The Seeker/Transcend series is wide platform ski that is very versatile. It is equally at home on long expeditions, in the backcountry, or just ripping on the hill. It’s strength is definitely in the powder. It skis very intuively, predictably and stable. Also they are just so easy to ski and forgiving. Their lightweight doesn’t hurt either, even if you never step foot in the back country, easier on the legs means more runs. The skis really carve well, the torsion cap and their extremely stiff torsional flex make this so. Leaving trenches in the groomed after a good day in the pow will bring you great joy.
